Day 1
Chihuahua - Casas Grandes
Arrival in Chihuahua or Juarez City

Departure to Paquimé
Departure from the city of Chihuahua or from Ciudad Juárez to the ancient city of Paquimé, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
This site is located in Casas Grandes. (3 and a half hours from CUU or CJS)
Tour and museum visit
The tour of the area and the on-site Museum of Northern Cultures will take you the rest of the day, ending in a local restaurant tasting the regional delights of desert cuisine.
Day 2
Mata Ortiz
A walk through Mata Ortiz
After breakfast, we will take you to the Pottery Village of Mata Ortíz, 30 km away, passing through the Mormon community of Colonia Juárez.
In Colonia Juárez, the importance of this culture settled in Chihuahua for centuries is explained for more than a century Its influence on local education through the Juárez Academy.
Galleries of artisans
The tour of the Mata Ortiz artisan galleries includes a demonstration and a class to learn from the heirs of Master Juan Quezada Celado, who won the National Prize for Science and Arts in the noble craft of pottery.
On the way back, it is suggested to return to the hotel to prepare for dinner and tasting of sotol, a traditional desert drink.
Day 3
Nuevo Casas Grandes
Visit to New Casas Grandes
After breakfast, prepare for your return by visiting the city of Nuevo Casas Grandes, where you can buy the most delicious peaches harvested in the area during the season, or learn about this town founded around the Railway Station.
A cheese and stew tasting will be prepared at a local restaurant, and after lunch, you will be transferred back.
