Mulatto Canyon

It is located approximately 22 km southeast of the city of Ojinaga. This small canyon forms the last part of the stream that originates in Los Juncos and is fed by several tributaries along its path.

It belongs to the National Protected Area of Flora and Fauna of the Santa Elena Canyon, which includes the municipalities of Manuel Benavides and Ojinaga.

Taking the appropriate precautions, the area known as “Cañoncito de El Mulato” is an ideal place for picnics and recreation.
